Overview

TradeOS (“TradeOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a platform that connects homeowners with trades contractors for quoting and scheduling service work. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Depending on whether you use TradeOS as a homeowner or a contractor, we collect:

• Name — to identify who a job request, quote, or account belongs to.
• Phone number — to send job and quote notifications by SMS and to let contractors and homeowners coordinate a job.
• Email address — for account access and service-related communication.
• Service address — so a contractor knows where a job is located.
• Job photos — uploaded by homeowners so contractors (and our AI photo-analysis feature) can assess a job without an in-person visit.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Connect homeowners with the contractor they contacted
• Deliver quotes, job status updates, and scheduling details
• Analyze uploaded job photos to help a contractor prepare an accurate quote
• Process contractor subscription billing
• Maintain the security and reliability of the platform

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile phone number, TradeOS may send you recurring SMS messages about the job you requested: the contractor's quote, a follow-up on that quote, and appointment confirmations. These messages are transactional, not marketing — we do not send promotions or offers on this program. TradeOS sends them on behalf of the contractor you contacted, and every message names both that contractor and TradeOS.

You opt in by ticking the consent checkbox on a contractor's quote request form. The box is never pre-selected and the form cannot be submitted without it. We store the exact wording you agreed to, with a timestamp, as the record of your consent.

• Message frequency varies based on your job activity — you will generally only receive a message when there is an update to a specific job or quote.
• Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
• You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or email contact@tradeosnow.com.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. A homeowner's name, phone number, address, and job details are shared only with the specific contractor they submitted a job request to — that sharing is the core purpose of the service.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data collected through TradeOS are not shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use a small number of service providers to operate TradeOS: Supabase for data storage, Twilio to deliver SMS messages, Stripe to process contractor subscription payments, and Anthropic to power the AI photo analysis described below. These providers process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality and security obligations, and do not use it for their own marketing.

AI Photo Analysis

When you upload photos with a job request, we send them to Anthropic, a third-party AI provider, which reads them and returns a short written summary — for example the type, brand, or approximate age of a water heater, or a count of rooms for a move. That summary goes to the contractor you contacted, to help them price the job without driving out to look at it first.

• Your photos are not used to train AI models. Anthropic processes them to produce the summary and does not use them to improve its models.
• The AI never sets your price. It only describes what it sees. The contractor decides the price, and the summary may be incomplete or wrong.
• Photos are optional. You can submit a job request without any photos and describe the work in your own words instead — nothing is sent for AI analysis in that case.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including access controls on our database and encrypted connections between your device and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain job, quote, and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes, such as recordkeeping for completed jobs. You may request deletion of your account information at any time using the contact details below.

Your Choices

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time (see above), and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
