TradeOS (“TradeOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a platform that connects homeowners with trades contractors for quoting and scheduling service work. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Depending on whether you use TradeOS as a homeowner or a contractor, we collect:

• Name — to identify who a job request, quote, or account belongs to.
• Phone number — to send job and quote notifications by SMS and to let contractors and homeowners coordinate a job.
• Email address — for account access and service-related communication.
• Service address — so a contractor knows where a job is located.
• Job photos — uploaded by homeowners so contractors (and our AI photo-analysis feature) can assess a job without an in-person visit.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Connect homeowners with the contractor they contacted
• Deliver quotes, job status updates, and scheduling details
• Analyze uploaded job photos to help a contractor prepare an accurate quote
• Process contractor subscription billing
• Maintain the security and reliability of the platform

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile phone number, TradeOS may send you SMS messages related to your job request or quote — for example, when a contractor sends you a quote, or when a quote is accepted or declined. These messages are transactional, not marketing.

• Message frequency varies based on your job activity — you will generally only receive a message when there is an update to a specific job or quote.
• Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
• You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. A homeowner's name, phone number, address, and job details are shared only with the specific contractor they submitted a job request to — that sharing is the core purpose of the service.

Mobile phone numbers collected through TradeOS are not shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

We use a small number of service providers to operate TradeOS — for example, Supabase for data storage, Twilio to deliver SMS messages, and Stripe to process contractor subscription payments. These providers process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality and security obligations, and do not use it for their own marketing.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including access controls on our database and encrypted connections between your device and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain job, quote, and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes, such as recordkeeping for completed jobs. You may request deletion of your account information at any time using the contact details below.

Your Choices

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time (see above), and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
